Who is Mick?

Mick is a super cool 24 year old living in Austin, TX. He has a wonderful girlfriend of almost 2 years and is living the nut-free dream. Mick has been living with a peanut and tree nut allergy his whole life, so he is VERY familiar with always having an epi-pen nearby, as well as checking every food label before eating any packaged food. He WILL NOT tolerate such torment against the nut allergy community any longer! Oh, he's also very tall–6'7 to be exact.

What is the mission behind Mick's Got No Nuts?

Mick understands the annoyance of not having 100% nut-free snacks around the house or on-the-go. He has taken on the [very personal] mission of creating a 100% nut-free brand so people with peanut and tree nut allergies can enjoy packaged foods without having to worry. He intends to begin his long road with creating a protein bar, as he himself enjoys high protein snacks but understands there are very few truly nut-free options. The Mick's Got No Nuts protein bar will be 100% nut-free and made in a dedicated nut-free facility to ensure there is no peanut or tree nut cross-contamination.

Where did the name "Mick's Got No Nuts" come from?

Pretty funny, right? Unfortunately, as much as Mick would like to take credit for the hilarious name, it was Mick's dad who came up with the idea. He's a pretty funny guy, so it tracks that he came up with such a clever name.

What is the current stage of Mick's Got No Nuts?

As much as Mick wishes he had a product for everyone to buy this very moment, Mick's Got No Nuts is still technically in the 'idea' phase. Mick is currently working with a manufacturer to finalize the recipe. Mick has been working hard on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube to spread the word about Mick's Got No Nuts, so that when launch arrives in mid-to-late 2025, hundreds of people will be ready to enjoy the Mick's Got No Nuts protein bars. If you're not subscribed to the Mick's Got No Nuts email list, do so now to avoid missing frequent and more detailed updates. And, even though our protein bars aren't quite ready, you can pre-order right now to be first in line for when launch finally arrives!

When will your protein bars be ready to purchase?

Mick is currently working with a manufacturer to finalize his recipe for the Mick's Got No Nuts protein bar. Launch is scheduled for mid-to-late 2025. While the product might not be ready at this moment, you can still pre-order your protein bars in preparation for official launch in a few months. If you pre-order now, you'd actually be putting yourself in front of the line before everyone else.

Is your protein bar truly nut-free?

Heck yea it is! Wouldn't be called Mick's Got No Nuts for no reason, right? The Mick's Got No Nuts protein bars will be 100% nut-free and made in a dedicated nut-free facility. Mick is allergic to nuts, so it wouldn't be too smart to make a product that he couldn't eat either!

Is your protein bar made in a dedicated nut-free facility?

Yep! It's very important to Mick and Mick's Got No Nuts that the protein bars are made in a dedicated nut-free facility to avoid peanut and tree nut contamination.

I have other sensitivities/allergies. Can I still eat your protein bar?

Most likely, yes. Mick understands that there are many food allergies and sensitivities people share, so he is trying to be conscious of as many people as possible. Ultimately, Mick's priorities will be peanut-free and tree nut-free first and foremost. However, here is what Mick can say as of now:

Mick is trying his best to avoid soy, sesame, and sunflower. There will be no pea/pea protein or legumes. It most likely will have dairy, as Mick intends for the primary source of protein to be whey protein. Unsure of gluten content as of right now.

What are the ingredients of your protein bar?

Mick is currently working with a manufacturer to finalize the protein bar recipe. For the sake of false expectations and incorrect statements, Mick is holding off on posting the ingredients list until he is rock-solid with his recipe. Though, as mentioned in the previous question, Mick is trying his best to avoid soy, sesame, and sunflower. There will be no pea/pea protein or legumes. It most likely will have dairy, as Mick intends for the primary source of protein to be whey protein. Unsure of gluten content as of right now.

What is the calorie & protein content of your protein bar?

Mick cannot say for sure right now, as he is still working with a manufacturer. However, Mick is a big fan of the 10cals : 1g protein ratio in any snack. If he were to ballpark the content right now, he'd like the bar to have roughly 180 calories and 18g protein. Those numbers could change, but that is roughly what Mick is aiming for.

Is your protein bar meant for kids?

The Mick's Got No Nuts protein bar is meant for everyone (especially for those with peanut and tree nut allergies)! However, Mick intends for the protein bar to be tasty enough that even the pickiest eaters would enjoy!

What flavor will your protein bar be?

Since Mick is still finalizing his recipe, he cannot say yet. Stay tuned for more info about flavors in the coming weeks/months.

Even though your protein bars aren't ready quite yet, can I still pre-order?

100%! Launch is planned for mid-to-late 2025, but you can pre-order either a 4-pack, 12-pack, or 36-pack. Mick understands if you do not want to pre-order without seeing the ingredients first though. Please ensure you stay up to date on email & social media communications so that when you acquire more information, you'll be confident to pre-order. Though again, you CAN pre-order RIGHT NOW.

Do you have other products besides just protein bars?

Not yet. The protein bar is the first and only product Mick is planning to release as of now. Once the protein bar establishes itself within the market, Mick will work to develop more products in the future. Mick's dream is to turn Mick's Got No Nuts into THE nut-free brand for people with nut allergies.

Do you ship internationally?

Mick intends to ship internationally. If there is any issue regarding international shipping when you place an order, Mick will be in close communication with you.

How can I invest in Mick's Got No Nuts?

Investments are different than donations and pre-orders. If you are aware of this distinction and wish to invest in Mick's Got No Nuts, please email Mick at mick@micksgotnonuts.com. Mick will promptly respond and be in communication.

Does Mick actually have no nuts? 😏

Ok weirdo. Really getting personal, huh? Stop reading. Why are you still reading? Are you really hoping for an answer to this question? Stop. Stop it. There won't be answer to this. Hey, stop. Look yourself in the mirror and ask yourself: "what is wrong with me?" Why are you still reading? Seriously. Jeez. You'll have to leave this one up to your imagination. Silly goose.
