The Problem

If you have a peanut or tree nut allergy, you know firsthand the difficulty of finding safe, nut-free protein bars that don't risk cross-contamination. This is such a miss, yet no one has done anything about it. Until now.

What Beta Testers Are Saying...

“Super soft! Didn’t feel like I was trying to chomp through a dense protein/breakfast bar.”

I really loved it, I find it to be very close to a chocolate bar or a brownie-type bar, which for me is great, I’m not a fan of protein bars that have “fluff” and unneeded ingredients. I like the simplicity of it. Perfect level of sweetness too. Amazing work.

“No fake taste. I was anticipating an aspartame after taste but there was none! It was pleasant; almost like having a chocolate bar treat!”

“I like the soft texture. It is almost like a Tootsie Rolls texture.”

“The taste was excellent! It had the right amount of softness and chewiness without falling apart or changing consistency. It tasted like a high quality protein bar.”

“I’m shocked that I wasn’t hit with the aftertaste that can be noticed in protein additives, so that was awesome.”

Who is Mick?

And why is he telling the world he has no nuts?

I'm Mick. I'm 25 years old. I'm an active guy. I'm 6'7" (whoa, I know) and have been living with peanut and tree nut allergies since I was 3 years old. For as long as I can remember, label-checking has been a habit that's been engrained into my mind. Contains nuts? No thanks. May contain nuts? Yea, no. I feel like I have to say no to more foods than I can say yes to.

There are hundreds of protein bars on the market, but for some gosh darn reason none are made SPECIFICALLY for peanut and tree nut allergies. I think that's pretty lame. So, I wanted to change that. I wanted to build a protein bar that I can actually eat too. No peanuts. No tree nuts. Made in a facility that doesn't process peanuts or tree nuts either.

I have a nut-free mission to provide snack foods to people like me who have peanut and tree nut allergies. So, thank you for being here. #nutsaredumb

FAQs

When will the bar be released?

We are aiming for July/August 2026. However, in the next few weeks, we will be opening up pre-sales for the people who want to get the bar as soon as possible before everyone else. Subscribing to the email list gives you the most up-to-date information.

What countries will the bar be available in?

We are based in the United States. When the bars get closer to release, we will have a better idea of international shipping (e.g. Canada, UK, Australia).

What are the ingredients?

Protein Blend (Calcium Caseinate, Milk Protein Concentrate, Whey Protein Isolate), Glycerin, Semisweet Chocolate (Sugar, Unsweetened Chocolate, Cocoa Butter, Dextrose), Collagen, Water, Allulose, Cocoa Butter, Unsweetened Chocolate, Unsweetened Cocoa Powder, Avocado Oil, Inulin Agave, Gum Acacia, Sunflower Lecithin, Sea Salt

What other allergens are present in the bar?

Because the bar includes milk-based proteins, there is milk.

Does the production facility also process peanuts/tree nuts?

No. The facility where our bars will be made does not process any other products with peanuts or tree nuts.

Does the bar have pea protein?

There is no pea protein. Our primary protein source is a combination of various milk-based proteins.

Are there other flavors?

We only have one flavor planned as of now: chocolate chocolate chip. However, that does not mean there won't be other flavors introduced down the line.

Is the bar dairy-free?

The bar is not dairy-free. We are using various milk-based proteins.

Is the bar egg-free?

The bar does not have egg in it.

Is the bar Kosher?

Each ingredient used in the bar is Kosher. However, the bar as a whole is not yet OU-Kosher certitied. We are still working to acquire this certification.

Who has beta tested the bar?

We asked over 50 people, ranging from 2 years old to 80 years old, to sample the bar. We received very positive feedback, with an average overall score of 4.5/5.

Where will you sell the bar?

Sales will occur online on our website only at first. We will not be in stores right away, but hopefully sooner rather than later.

Mick's Got No Nuts is a hilarious name. Who came up with it?

Mick's Dad. He's a funny guy.

Is Mick really 6'7?

Yes. But be careful, your ego may be temporarily bruised if you stand next to him. (And yes, he did play basketball in college).

The Protein Bar Market Left Us Out

If you have a peanut/tree nut allergy, good luck finding a protein bar you can safely eat. Every protein bar either contains nuts, or may contain nuts.
